LAST CALL! Final tickets offers at a 50% Discount!

Our sponsors want YOU there – final tickets 50% off!

Due to the generosity of two of our sponsors (who wish to remain anonymous), we’re able to offer the final tickets to this year’s conference at 50% off!

Here’s the catch (and it is the ONLY catch): there are only 10 tickets available for each track. That’s 10 tickets for the main track, and 10 tickets for the alumni track. And that’s it. When they are gone, they are gone.

All ticket levels are included, so hurry and claim yours now! Don’t wait another year to grow your expertise, discover your voice, and find your people. This really is your year.

Don’t believe us? Check out what we’re bringing to the table.

To snag one of these tickets, use the code LASTCALL when ordering – or just click here.

Remember, all ticket sales must end this weekend.

We can’t wait to see you there!

The Countdown Begins…Get Ready for the First Night After Party

FOMO? No Mo! We will be kicking off the first night of the Write/Speak/Code conference at The Rec Room on Wednesday, June 15th at 7:00pm. The Rec Room is a House party–themed basement watering hole with 1970s-style decor, a dance floor, and a free jukebox. It is located on 18 W Hubbard St in the River North area of Chicago, making it just steps away from the conference venue. We are expecting around 100 guests and you better be one of them!

And there isn’t just a party! Get pumped because the first day of the conference is going to be jam-packed with talks including, “Shaving my head made me a better programmer” and “How To Be Everything: A Look At The Way We Give Advice”.

Not only will you be hearing from brilliant speakers, but you will also get to participate in great workshops about topics including how to write a powerful bio and how to generate topics for blog posts/conference talks.

What better way to end the day than by joining us for some drinks, food, games, and fun! It will be an excellent time to network with fellow conference attendees and unwind. We can’t wait to see you there!

If you don’t have conference tickets yet, don’t worry, you can still purchase them by using the link below:

Introducing Our Alumna Track

Introducing Our Alumna Track

Our first Alumna track is designed just for you!

When we planned our first Write/Speak/Code conference in 2013, we did it because we wanted it. We wanted to write more about our expertise. We wanted to submit proposals and speak at conferences. We wanted to contribute to open source. All of this, but we didn’t know how to do it. We wanted a path and a tribe of like-minded individuals to encourage us along. And with that, Write/Speak/Code was born!

It’s been 3 years and like you, we have grown as leaders and individuals. Many of us have gone on to speak at (many) conferences, have started our own open source projects, and have wrote numerous blogs, articles, and books. After all of that, we’re once again looking for the next step!

Based on the feedback we have received from many of our alumna and Meetup chapter members, we have crafted our latest and greatest idea: Write/Speak/Code 2016 Alumna Track.

Our Alumna track is meant for women who may or may not have already attended our conference. Most importantly, we want to be able to offer more content to our attendees who already have a grasp of their expertise and are looking for more ways to influence their careers and community. Some topics we will cover include leadership, self-care, self-promotion, and advanced technical topics. On the second day we’ll dive into brainstorming, pitching, and planning a project of your choice — either independently or with a small group of other women in a collaboration. By the end of the third day, you will give a 3 minute pitch to talk about your project. Throughout the 3-day conference, you’ll hear from industry-leading speakers who will help you form your own ideas to help you reach your entrepreneurial and development goals.

Be sure to check out our high-level overview of the 3-days here!
